Cuban National Circus
Circuba was created in 1981, it is considered the third most important circus festival after the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo and the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris. Every year some artists come from neighbouring countries like Mexico or Colombia to participate. But the 2015 tour is special because, for the first time in history, two young Americans are invited to join the rest of the troupe. A symbolically charged presence, while the diplomatic rapprochement between Cuba and the United States is imminent. For nearly seven weeks, the troupe travels the whole country, from town to town, for a total of 75 performances.
